Gorilla permits
Please book your tours at least 3 to 6 months in advance. Gorilla permits have limited availability, especially in the high and peak seasons (January, February, June, July, August, September and December)
Chimpanzee permits
Chimpanzee tracking permit is an identification provided by Uganda Wildlife Authority to authorize a tourist/traveller/trekker to access the forest and track chimpanzees. Chimpanzee tracking in uganda is done in kibaale national park, Kalinzu forest and Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The chimpanzee permits can be accessed at any time on arrival of the tourist
